Inspiration piece

First legit post! :)

This was a piece I designed for one of the portfolio tests for FIT: Inspiration Test. Basically, I had to choose an inspirational source to base a design upon. As random as it may seem, I chose the Tarantula :D As soon as I saw that image of the tarantula, all i could think of was laces. velvet. sexy. Started sketching - and here it is. You guys like/hate?

Introducing...

Hello everyone,

its 12:58am on the 12th day of the new year 2010 :)

I've attempted at this whole blogging thing way back in the past summer, but due to bad scheduling/procrastination I haven't been keeping up with things very well. I apologize to all of you followers (again, thank you!).

So I'm starting fresh. Erased everything (haha), and gonna start posting new whatever - sketches, photographs, other art works etc. You can expect inspirational aspects of my design perspective to be introduced and recognized here as well.

I am also going to use this blog as my journal for a project called WISE, a program designed to motivate seniors to devise their own projects/internships and work through it till the end of the year. My choice of project is creating a collection of about 5-6 looks (may be changed later) based on my personal style, design perspective, and my recent inspirations. I will be keeping weekly updates on the ideas/sketches I come up with as well as discussing my inspirational sources.

I won't let you down this time, I promise!
